AI & automation

AI product design and automation UX.

AI only helps when people trust it. We design the interface layer that makes automated decisions legible, correctable and worth relying on.

WHY IT MATTERS

A model that nobody
trusts gets turned off.

Most failed AI features do not fail on accuracy. They fail because the person on the other end could not tell why a decision was made, could not correct it, and stopped looking.

The design problem is not the model. It is confidence, correction and consequence — what the interface shows, what it lets you override, and what happens when it is wrong.

WHAT THIS INCLUDES

What the build
actually covers.

  • AI assistants

Conversational and embedded assistants that show their working instead of asserting an answer.

  • Intelligent workflows

Automation that hands back to a person at the right moment, rather than at the moment it breaks.

  • Process automation

Where the repetitive work actually is, mapped before anything is automated.

  • Model output UX

Confidence, provenance and uncertainty made visible without turning every screen into a dashboard.

  • Human-in-the-loop design

Review and override paths designed as the primary flow, not an escape hatch.

  • AI-powered products

Products where the model is the product, and the interface has to carry the trust.

WHAT YOU END UP WITH

What you actually
hold at the end.

  • Interface patterns for confidence, provenance and correction
  • A defined escalation path for when the model is wrong — because it will be
  • Automation scoped to where it pays, with the rest left alone deliberately
  • Prototypes tested with the people who have to act on the output
COMMON QUESTIONS

Asked often enough
to answer here.

01Do you build the model?

No. We design everything around it. If you need modelling we will tell you honestly that it is not us.

02Our AI feature launched and nobody uses it. Can you help?

That is the common case. Usually the answer is in what the interface never showed the user, not in the model.

03Is this only for chat interfaces?

No, and chat is often the wrong shape. Most useful automation is invisible until it needs a decision.
